Participate in Governance

Shape Nolus’ future by voting on proposals via the app or Keplr—your staked NLS gives you a voice in key protocol decisions

Updated over 3 months ago

Taking part in the governance of the Nolus Protocol is more than just a feature — it’s an opportunity for stakers to shape the future of the ecosystem. Whether you’re a long-term supporter or a new participant, casting your vote helps guide the protocol’s development, funding decisions, and critical upgrades.

To participate directly through the Nolus app, start by navigating to the “Vote” section in the left-hand sidebar. There, you’ll find a list of active governance proposals. Select the one you wish to vote on, review the proposal details, and choose your preferred option — Yes, No, No with Veto, or Abstain. Once you've made your choice, confirm the transaction in your connected wallet to officially cast your vote.

You can also vote through the Keplr Dashboard, which provides a clean interface for on-chain governance across Cosmos-based networks. Visit the Governance section within the dashboard, select the Nolus network if needed, and browse the list of active proposals. Click on the proposal you’re interested in, then hit “Vote.” In the pop-up window, select your voting preference and confirm the transaction in your wallet to submit your decision.

Governance participation is open to anyone who has staked NLS, and voting power is proportional to your stake. Your involvement directly impacts how the protocol evolves — from treasury usage to core upgrades — making it a vital piece of the decentralized governance process.
