The Nolus app has a settings menu for customising the interface and for managing alerts about your margin positions.
Where to find settings
The settings icon is a cog wheel.
It sits on the right-hand side of the navigation bar, next to the network switcher and your wallet details.
Clicking it opens the settings panel, where all the options below live.
Language preferences
The app is available in several languages.
By default it launches in English.
You can switch language directly from the settings panel.
The interface, menus, and system messages update instantly.
Your choice is saved in the browser and stays active in future sessions.
If you use Nolus on more than one browser or device, set your preferred language on each one.
Theme options
Three theme modes are available:
Light mode: bright and clean, best for daytime use.
Dark mode: easier on the eyes in low light.
System default: follows your device or browser setting.
A theme change applies instantly across the whole interface.
Push notifications
Push notifications keep you informed about your margin positions even when you are not looking at the app.
Browser-based support
Nolus is a web application, so notifications rely on your browser’s own notification system.
Notifications are enabled or disabled per browser and per device.
The first time you open Nolus, you are asked to allow or block them.
If you block them, you can re-enable them later in your browser’s permission settings.
Health warnings
Nolus notifies you about margin position events that need your attention, so you can act before a liquidation happens.
Health below 7.5%: early risk warning.
Health below 5%: critical risk level.
Health below 3%: high danger of liquidation.
Liquidation notices
Partial liquidation: your position was partially liquidated and its health was reset to 10%.
Full liquidation: your position was fully liquidated.
Funding alerts
“Consider funding your BTC position.”
“Funding your BTC position is recommended.”
“BTC position is close to liquidation! Fund now.”
