Revenue Share is the Nolus referral program. Everyone you bring to the app earns you a share of the revenue their positions produce, and that share is paid out to your Nolus account. It lives on the home page of the Nolus Web App, in the card titled Revenue Share next to the Earnings card. There is no separate menu entry for it.
Before you have a link, the card leads with the share it offers, printed large, over the line of the revenue from everyone you bring to Nolus and, under it, Every position they open adds to your share. Once you have a link, the card carries the same promise as a single line above your code. The figure itself is always the one on the card, so read it there.
Getting your referral link
On the Revenue Share card, click Get Referral Link.
With no wallet connected, the click opens the wallet picker instead. Connect a wallet there, then click Get Referral Link again to register.
With a wallet connected, that one click registers you. There is no signature to approve, no on-chain transaction and no confirmation dialog. The card changes in place to the referrer view, with your code already in it.
Registration is permanent: once an account is a referrer there is no way to undo it in the app. It is not limited to one network either. The program is keyed to your Nolus account, so a Solflare or Phantom session gets its link exactly the same way.
Sharing your link
The referrer view shows Your Link above a box holding your personal link: app.nolus.io/ followed by your six-character code.
The copy icon inside that box (Copy Link) copies the full link and confirms with a Link Copied message.
On a phone, an extra Share button opens the device's share sheet with the text Join me on Nolus: and your link.
Share it however you like. The link is the only thing a friend needs in order to join through you.
How a link attaches to a friend
Opening your link takes the visitor to the Nolus home page and nothing else visibly happens: no banner, no pop-up, no message. The browser quietly remembers the code, so there is nothing for your friend to look for and nothing for them to confirm.
The code is attached to their account on the first transaction that can carry it: opening a margin position, repaying one, closing one, setting or removing a take profit or a stop loss, and Earn supply and withdraw. It travels as the transaction memo, written as ref:NLS- followed by the code, which is why the memo shows in the wallet's signing prompt and on the transaction afterwards. That memo is expected, and it is the only trace the whole process leaves.
Transfers, swaps, staking and governance votes do not carry it, so those alone will not attach the link.
The browser holds the code for 30 days from the moment your friend opens the link. If they make no transaction that can carry it in that time, the code is dropped and a later transaction attaches nothing; opening the link again starts a fresh 30 days.
The first attachment wins, and it is permanent: it cannot be swapped for another link or removed from the app later.
A link cannot attach to an account that already joined through someone else, or to an account that is a referrer itself, and your own link will not attach to your own account.
An attachment that does not go through never blocks, delays or fails the transaction itself.
On your side, the Referrals figure on your card counts up once that first transaction has landed on chain and the card has read your figures again, which happens the next time you open the home page.
What the figures on the card mean
Three figures sit under your link, with a chart beneath them.
Referrals: how many accounts joined through your link, followed by how many of them are currently active. When none are active, only the total is shown. This is a count rather than a balance, so the eye button next to Total Value in the Account popover leaves it visible while it masks the two USD figures and the chart values.
Your Share So Far: everything your referrals have earned you to date, in USD, whether it has already been paid out or is still waiting.
Next Payout, followed by a date: the date is when the next payout run happens, and the figure under it is the amount waiting to go out in it.
Share by Month: one bar per calendar month for the last six months, with the value above each bar and the month under it. The current month is faded because it is still running.
Until someone you brought opens their first position, the card shows No Revenue Yet with the line Your first month shows here once someone you brought opens a position.
A figure the app cannot read or price right now shows a dash instead of a number, and the chart shows a dashed box in place of the bars. A dash means the value is not known at that moment, not that it is zero. When the amount behind a dashed Your Share So Far or Next Payout is known in a currency that could not be priced, hovering the label lists it per currency, ticker by ticker; with values hidden, that hint is not shown either.
When the card cannot read your figures at all, it keeps this same layout with a dash in place of every figure and shows no error message. A card showing dashes throughout means the read did not come back, not that you have earned nothing.
Where your payouts show up
Payouts are sent to your Nolus account as an incoming USDC transfer, so they appear in Activities. When the transfer carries the program's payout memo, the row reads Payout in the Type column and its description reads Revenue share followed by the amount received; otherwise it appears as an ordinary incoming Transfer.
Either way the row is a transfer: it shows in the unfiltered table and under the Transfer & Swap filter, never under Margin, Earn or Stake, and there is no Payout filter of its own. The Payout wording is read from the memo on the transfer rather than from the sender, so when you want to be sure where a transfer came from, open the row's transaction details and check the sender.
Payouts are not continuous. They go out in a payout run, the card names the date of the next one under Next Payout, and Your Share So Far keeps counting in between. An amount below 1 USDC is held and paid with a later run, nothing is lost.
For how the Activities table works in general, see Activities and Realized PnL.
