After you buy an asset with Buy Now Pay Later, you pay off its loan from the Buy Now Pay Later page (Pay Later in the menu) of the Nolus Web App, at your own pace. This article covers the list of your purchases, the Pay dialog, what happens when you pay everything, and how purchases show in Activities. To make a purchase, see Buy an Asset with Buy Now Pay Later.
Your Purchases
Your Purchases sits on the Buy Now Pay Later page under the buy card, once you hold at least one purchase. Purchases are not listed under Your Positions on the Margin page.
At the top, two totals:
Worth: what all your purchases are worth now.
Left to Pay: everything you still owe across your purchases, interest included.
Each purchase has one row, with these columns:
Asset: the asset you bought. A 0% tag follows it while a zero-interest campaign covers the purchase.
Bought At: the price per token you bought at.
You Own: how much of the asset the purchase holds, with its value in dollars under it.
Left to Pay: what you still owe on this purchase, interest included. Under it, "{percent}% paid" with a small ring shows how much of the loan has been paid back so far, by your payments or by a partial sale.
Interest Due: the interest owed now, with the date it is due by, for example "by Dec 1, 2026".
Pay: opens the Pay dialog for this purchase.
On a phone each purchase is a card with the same figures and Pay at the bottom. If you hide balances with the eye button in the Account popover, the amounts are masked; the paid share, the dates and Bought At stay visible. The two Alerts keep their amounts visible.
A purchase that is still being bought shows "-" for its figures and "Buying..." in place of Pay.
The Pay dialog
Open it with the Pay button in a purchase's row, or with the button in one of the Alerts described below, which opens it with an amount already filled in.
In Amount, type what you want to pay, in USDC. Payments are made in USDC only, whatever asset you bought, from the USDC in your Nolus account; Balance beside the field shows how much you have. Two buttons under the field fill in an amount for you:
Interest Due, followed by an amount: the interest owed now, or $1.00 when that is less than $1, since $1 is the smallest payment (never more than you owe).
All, followed by an amount: everything you owe on this purchase, interest included.
The preview under the field shows what your payment does:
If you pay less than everything: "{amount} left to pay" and "Your {asset} is safe above {price}", the price above which no part of the asset is sold after this payment.
If you pay everything: "You pay off all {amount} and the {assetAmount} {asset} is transferred to your account".
Each payment goes to interest first, then to the loan. While you owe more than $1, the smallest payment is $1: a smaller amount shows "Enter at least {amount} {currency}". You cannot pay more than you owe ("Enter at most {maxAmount} {symbol}"), or more than the USDC you hold ("Insufficient balance").
Click Pay and approve the transaction in your wallet; it carries a small network fee. The dialog closes, and the row's figures update. The app shows no separate confirmation.
Paying everything
When you pay all you owe, the loan is paid off and the asset itself is transferred to your Nolus account. Until it lands, the row reads "Sending..." with Left to Pay at $0.00 and the ring full at "100% paid". Once the asset is in your account, the purchase leaves Your Purchases and the asset appears in the Balances list of the Account popover.
The asset stays in your Nolus account until you decide otherwise. To move it to your Solana wallet, use Withdraw in the Account popover, as described in Fund & Withdraw Assets. There is no other way to get the asset out of a purchase: it cannot be sold or moved while the loan is open.
The two Alerts
Between the buy card and Your Purchases, the page can show an Alert for a purchase that needs attention:
Interest Due Soon: "Pay {amount} by {date} or it's taken from your {asset}". It appears when three days or less remain before the interest is due. If you do not pay by that date, the interest is taken from the asset.
"{asset} Is Close to Being Partly Sold": "Pay {amount} to keep your {asset} safe". It appears when the asset's price has fallen close to the point where part of it is sold to repay the loan. The amount is what brings the purchase back to a safe level at today's price; if the price keeps falling, part of the asset can still be sold.
Each Alert has a "Pay {amount}" button that opens the Pay dialog with that amount filled in. The amount is at least $1.00, the smallest payment, and never more than you owe. You can close an Alert with its close button: it stays hidden while you stay on the page and comes back on your next visit if the purchase still needs attention.
If interest goes unpaid or the price falls
Interest still unpaid after its due date is taken from the asset: a small part of it is sold to cover the interest. You then hold less of the asset for the same loan, which brings a partial sale closer.
If the asset's price falls far enough, part of the asset is sold to repay part of the loan, enough to bring it back to a safe level, and the rest stays yours. If the price keeps falling, more can be sold, and in the end all of it. Paying down the loan, even in part, moves that point further away. For how far the price can fall on each plan, see Understanding Buy Now Pay Later.
Purchases in Activities
Open More in the header and pick Activities. On a phone or a narrow window, open the menu button at the top left of the header, where Activities sits below the line.
The Buy tab lists your purchases only; All shows them among everything else, and Margin leaves them out. Purchase rows carry the type Buy and read:
"Bought {amount}": the purchase, with the amount of the asset bought.
"Paid {amount} on your {asset}": a payment.
"Paid off {amount}": the payment that cleared the loan, with the amount of the asset the purchase bought. What reaches your account can be less if part of the asset was sold or interest was taken from it.
"Interest of {amount} taken from your {asset}": unpaid interest taken from the asset.
"Interest of {amount} paid for you on your {asset}": a day's payments by a zero-interest campaign.
"Part of your {asset} was sold to repay the loan": a partial sale after a price fall.
"All of your {asset} was sold to repay the loan": the whole asset sold.
"Your {asset} purchase was closed": the purchase was closed by the protocol.
A purchase has no profit and loss, so purchase rows show no PnL figure, and the Buy tab hides the three figures Realized PnL, Volume and Win Rate. In the file you download with Export, purchases are listed with the margin positions. For more on the page, see Activities and Realized PnL.
